This piece is part of a deeply personal wing series, an exploration of loss, identity, and quiet strength.
The wings are no longer attached to a body. They exist on their own, suspended in a soft atmospheric space, as if remembering where they once belonged. Each feather is painted with intention, layered with warm and cool tones to reflect both fragility and resilience. Subtle shifts in color, from soft creams to muted browns and gentle blues, mirror the emotional depth behind the work.
This painting speaks to the feeling of having something taken from you, something that once defined you. Instead of focusing on absence, it honors what remains. The memory. The imprint. The beauty that continues to exist even after loss.
It is not only about what was lost, but about what continues.
Inspired by a scene from The Odyssey, the Trojan Horse.
After ten years of war, Odysseus devises one final trick: a colossal wooden horse left behind on the empty shore, as the Greek ships appear to sail away. The painting captures that suspended moment, the horse standing monumental and silent in the amber light, the soldiers small in the distance, the calm before the fall of Troy. Hidden inside, Odysseus and his men wait for nightfall, when they will slip out, open the gates, and end the war.
The Last Man Standing is Odysseus himself, the one who endures the war, the storms, and the long journey home, and is still standing at the end.
Becoming Light was born from the idea that our greatest transformations often come after our most difficult seasons. Like wings weathered by the storm, this piece represents the courage to rise, even when life has left its marks. The imperfect edges and layered textures are intentional, reflecting the beauty found not in perfection, but in resilience, healing, and growth.
Created with oil paint and hand-applied genuine gold leaf, the wings emerge from a serene blue sky as a symbol of hope, freedom, and renewal. The luminous gold catches and reflects light throughout the day, reminding us that even our deepest wounds can become the places where light shines the brightest. Each shift in perspective reveals new dimensions of the artwork, much like the evolving journey of the human spirit.
This piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and remember that becoming is not about leaving our past behind. It is about allowing every experience to shape us into something stronger, wiser, and more radiant.

Fierce Original Painting
Fierce represents the moment where emotion can no longer be contained. The roar is not just power, it is release. It is the expression of everything held inside: strength, tension, frustration, and presence all breaking through at once.
The contrast of vibrant color against darkness reflects that duality—control versus instinct, calm versus eruption. It speaks to the part of us that is often restrained, yet deeply alive beneath the surface.
This piece is about owning that intensity. Not suppressing it, but recognizing it as a form of strength.
